About
Quan Zhang is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Sun Yat-sen University. Prior to that, he earned his Ph.D. (2024), M.Eng. (2020), and B.Eng. (2017) degrees from Sun Yat-sen University, under the supervision of Prof. Jianhuang Lai. During his Ph.D., he was a visiting PhD at Johns Hopkins University, collaborating closely with Prof. Vishal M. Patel. His research interests include deep learning and computer vision, with a particular emphasis on object re-identification, virtual 3D data synthesis and reasoning MLLM. He has published several papers in top-tier journals and conferences, such as TPAMI, IJCV, TIP, CVPR, and AAAI.
